to my little corner of the Internet! My name is Wendy Toliver,
and I write books for my favorite people in the world, teenagers.
There are many reasons I love my job. First, I love books. There are so many
on my bookshelf, I have to give boxes of them away to make room for all the new
ones I want. And taking me to the library is like taking me to the animal shelter:
I want to take all of them home! It’s quite the rush to imagine my books
out there, making people laugh or cry or pause to think about something in a
new light. Second, you might think this is kinda weird, but I enjoy hanging out
with the characters I create. Whether they’re cool or nerdy, sweet or rebellious,
they’re the types of people we can all relate to, sympathize with, and
root for. And last but not least, I love being an author because I get to sit
around in my pajamas all day!
